II. When visiting our website
2.1. Storing of access data in server log files
You can visit our websites without providing personal information. We only save access data in so-called server log files, such as for example the name of the requested file, date and time of access, amount of data transmitted and the provider making the request. These data are only analysed to ensure that there are no faults with the page and to improve our offer. They do not allow us to make any connection with you as an individual.
2.2 Use of cookies
We use so-called cookies on various pages to make visiting our website more attractive and to enable certain functions to be used. These involve small text files that are saved on your device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the browser session ends, i.e. once you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and allow us to recognise your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). You can adjust the settings in your browser so that you are notified about any cookies being placed. You can then choose on a case-by-case basis whether to accept them or not, or you can decide not to accept cookies in particular cases or in general. Refusing to accept cookies may restrict functionality on our website.
2.3 Use of Google (Universal) Analytics for web analysis
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). Use includes the “Universal Analytics” service. This makes it possible to allocate a pseudonym user ID for data, sessions and interactions across several devices and thus analyse a user’s activity across several devices.
Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are saved on your computer and which allow your use of the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to one of Google’s servers in the USA and saved there. If IP anonymisation is enabled on this website, your IP address will however be abbreviated by Google beforehand within European Union member states or in other countries under the European Economic Area treaty. Only under exceptional circumstances will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. The IP address that is sent by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data by Google. Google will use this information on behalf of this website’s operator to analyse how you use the website, in order to compile reports about website activity and to perform other services for the website operator relating to website use and Internet use. We have a legitimate interest in the processing of data for these purposes. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Section 15 Subsection 3 of the Austrian Broadcast Media Act and Art. 6 Section 1 (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation. The data that we send and that are linked with cookies, user logins (e.g. user ID) or advert IDs are deleted automatically after 14 months. Data, the end of whose safekeeping period has been reached, are deleted automatically once a month. You can find further details about terms of use and data protection at https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or at https://policies.google.com/?hl=en.
You can stop cookies being saved by configuring the appropriate settings in your browser software; however we would point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions on this website to the full extent. Furthermore, you can prevent the data that is generated by the cookie and which relates to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) being collected and sent to Google and prevent Google from processing this data, by downloading and installing the Browser add-on. Opt-out cookies prevent your data being recorded in future when you visit this website. In order to prevent recording by Universal Analytics across different devices, you need to set opt-out for all systems you use. If you click to 'Google Analytics deaktivieren', the opt-out cookie will be applied:
III. Right of access to data and how to contact us
In general you have the right to access, rectification, deletion, restrict processing, data portability, withdraw consent and to object to processing.
